Under the visionary guidance of Principal Dr. Neelu Ghosh, the NSS Unit of D. D. Choksi College of Secondary Education, Palanpur—managed by Vidyamandir Trust—successfully organized a Special Health Check-up Camp for supporting staff members on 3rd October 2025, as part of the nationwide “Swachhata Hi Seva – 2025” campaign.
Principal Dr. Neelu Ghosh personally oversaw the planning and execution of the camp, ensuring every aspect—from logistics to volunteer coordination—was meticulously organized. She emphasized the importance of cleanliness, health awareness, and social responsibility, inspiring both trainees and staff to actively participate in community service initiatives. Her guidance and encouragement were instrumental in making the camp a resounding success.
Renowned physicians Dr. Bhavesh Patel (M.D.) and Dr. Yasin Polara (M.D.) from Star Hospital Palanpur extended their valuable services during the camp, where around 100 supporting staff members and around 40 NSS volunteers from the college benefited through health check-ups, consultation, and medical guidance.
In the concluding session, both doctors were honored and felicitated for their selfless contribution. The event was graced by Dr. Dilip Shah (Local Trustee, Vidyamandir Trust), Mahendrabhai Patel (Acting Director), Principal Dr. Neelu Ghosh, principals of other Teachers’ Training Colleges, faculty members, NSS volunteers, and the beneficiary staff.
The entire event was successfully coordinated under the guidance of N.S.S. Program Officer Ms. Avani Virola, with the active participation of N.S.S. volunteers ensuring smooth execution of the camp.
